Fully Sealed Plenum Design

Active Chilled Beams operate by receiving fresh air from an air handler to the beam housing; this creates an induction process that draws room air through an integrated water coil that additionally heats and cools with water flow. 

The fresh airflow and retreated induced air mix to deliver superior thermal comfort in heating and cooling while allowing for the introduction of fresh outside air for improved indoor air quality.

Maintenance

Spend less time worrying about HVAC downtime. Our Chilled Beams have no moving pieces or parts so there is very little chance of something breaking or wearing out! Once a year, typically during summer maintenance schedules, the facilities teams lower the perforated panel to expose the hydronic coil to inspect for small lint collection. A light vacuum procedure might be needed.


CB-H24

This provides superior thermal comfort in heating and cooling while allowing for the introduction of fresh outside air for improved indoor air quality.

The CB-H24 has no moving parts which minimizes sound and the maintenance requirements. The fully sealed plenum design from Carson Solutions ensures no air leakage. Multiple CB-H24’s can be installed to provide the primary supply air and utilize hot or chilled water to control space conditions precisely for maximum comfort. Induced room air mixes with primary conditioned fresh air to deliver a combined airflow stream to the occupied space through linear discharge slots along the length of the beam. The Carson Solutions CB-H24 Active Chilled Beams improve efficiency to maximize cooling and heating while delivering superior performance and thermal comfort!


CB-S24

The Carson Solutions Active Chilled Beam, 24” wide CB-S24 utilizes an induction process to draw room air through the Chilled Beam heat exchanger. This provides superior thermal comfort in heating and cooling while allowing for the introduction of fresh outside air for improved indoor air quality.

The CB-S24 has no moving parts which minimizes sound and the maintenance requirements. This unique design allows for a condensate drip tray to be mounted under the slanted dual hydronic heat exchanger for added protection against space humidity levels may be difficult to maintain. An optional factory-mounted condensate float switch can be installed for additional protection. The fully sealed plenum design from Carson Solutions ensures no air leakage. Multiple CB-S24s can be installed to provide the primary supply air and utilize hot or chilled water to control space conditions precisely for maximum comfort. Induced room air mixes with primary conditioned fresh air to deliver a combined airflow stream to the occupied space through linear discharge slots along the length of the beam. CB-SV

The Carson Solutions CB-SV vertical downward discharge soffit/ceiling mounted Active Chilled Beam utilizes an induction process to draw room air through the Chilled Beam heat exchanger. This provides superior thermal comfort in heating and cooling while allowing for the introduction of fresh outside air for improved indoor air quality. The CB-SV active chilled beam can be installed recessed in the ceiling soffit. The CB-SV configuration offers a more modern look to a traditional overhead Chilled Beam by utilizing a linear bar grille or linear slot diffuser supply grille (provided by others) to complete the overall look within the overhead soffit. The CB-SV is offered in two size configurations to accommodate buildings design constraints.

This provides superior thermal comfort in heating and cooling while allowing for the introduction of fresh outside air for improved indoor air quality. The CB-SH configuration offers a more modern look to a traditional overhead Chilled Beam by utilizing a linear bar grille or linear slot diffuser (provided by others) to complete the overall look within the overhead soffit.
